After the Acer Aspire Timeline series laptops,Acer has launched the new Acer TravelMate 8000 Timeline series laptops.The new Acer TravelMate 8000 Timeline series consists of the 15.6-inch Acer TravelMate 8571, 14.1-inch Acer TravelMate 8471 and 13.3-inch Acer TravelMate 8371, with the largest model weighing in at just over 2kg and the smallest model at around 1.6kg.The new Acer TravelMate 8000 Timeline series feature the Intel’s Laminar Wall Jet technology – a cooling system originally developed for jet engines.
The new Acer TravelMate 8000 Timeline series is a line up of professional notebooks specifically designed for no-compromise performance, superior security and trouble-free manageability, while offering extended productivity thanks to 8+ of battery life.
The laptop series is powered by the Intel Core 2 Duo and Intel Solo processors and 2GB/4GB DDR3 RAM (up to 8GB)– depending on your chosen configuration.
There is no SSD storage option.You can choose Hard disk drive of 250GB or 320GB capacity.
The new Acer TravelMate 8000 Timeline series also features 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi,Bluetooth,4-USB ports,5-in-1 memory card reader,biometric reader,integrated webcam,and other basic laptop spec’s.
