Microsoft Zune HD Arrives Finally!

Finally, Microsoft has released much awaited Zune HD music player. The new player sports 3.3-inch OLED touchscreen, HD radio, HD video out and Wi-Fi.

Zune HD is available at $220 (Rs. 10,600 approx.) for 16GB black and $290 (Rs. 13,900 approx.) for 32GB platinum model. Microsoft will be offering Zune HD only in US as Ars Technica revealed that the software giant has no plans to release the player in other markets.

Nvidia's Tegra Chip powers the 720p HD video content and also supports a great looking games as well as applications. It's hardly been a week since Apple announced new faster iPod Touch and fifth generation iPod Nano with video camera.

Zune HD was dismantled by the Rapid Repair folks and Nvidia's Tegra APX 2600 (APX2600-HM-A3) 600MHz application processor was revealed. Yes, this is the same Tegra processor that was showed off at the Mobile World Congress 2009. Other important components of Zune HD include large Toshiba NAND Flash memory chips and Atheros AR6002 mobile WiFI chip. The Atheros Wi-Fi chip is supposed to consume 70 percent less power than other competing chips thereby conserving Zune HD's battery life.

Games To Play Before You Die- Part 1

Solider of Fortune
This was a game that stirred up a lot of controversy for its dismemberment system wherein you could blow up individual limbs of your enemies. This game also boasted of a great plot, some really awesome cutscenes and great weapons. SOF was a true FPS but it was new and innovative, unfortunately the sequels couldn't live up to the original.

Medal of Honor Allied Assault
A true gem in World War Shooter genre, MOHAA is
a landmark in gaming. This is an authentic world war
experience that is largely responsible for converting
millions of gamers into virtual world war veterans.

Contra
Konami has many games to its credit but Contra is
probably the best of the lot. This simple 2D side scroller
is still one of the most additive games of all time, and
remains one of my favorite co-op experiences ever.
The sci-fi weapons, amazing level design and great boss
fights make Contra a memorable game.

Mario

The grandaddy of great gaming, Mario deserves a mention
in every gamer's list. Mario is a huge commercial success
on every platform, right from the 8-bit consoles to the current master of home consoles, the Nintendo Wii. Some of the best games in the series are Mario Bros (NES), Mario Cart on the Nintendo DS and Mario Galaxy on the Nintendo Wii.

Okami
Okami is one of those rare games that make you think and connect with you emotionally. Its storyline, highly inspired visuals and the subtle yet mesmerizing soundtrack make Okami a very special game. This is a game that takes some time getting used to, but once you get the basics right, there is a ton of great gameplay to be enjoyed.
