Nokia N79 and N85 launched – Price,Features

Nokia has launched it two new Nseries mobile phones , N85 and N79.The N85 is expected to replace the N81 and the N79 is next to N78.

The N85 is a slider phone 5MP camera and GPS feature which was not there in the N81.It is a N-gage friendly phone with controls suited for game playing with 2.6-inch display.It has 8GB of microSDHC storage and can have up to 16GB storage.It has 3G,Wi-Fi,28 Hr. music playback battery life.For deatailed features of the Nokia N85

The N79 also has a 5MP camera with dual-LED based flash.IT has swappable back-covers that changes the look to match the clothes or other fashion of the owner.It has 3G,Wi-Fi,GPS features and 24-hour music playback battery life.It has 4GB microSDHC storage.
Price and Availability: The price of Nokia N79 is Indian Rupees(INR) 19,500 and for N85 is Indian Rupees(INR) 23,000.They are now available in India .

BSNL has launched some of the popular BlackBerry phones with its 3G service.BlackBerry phones offer a host of services, including allowing users to access their e-mail on the move.The some of the BlackBerry phones that will be available with BSNL are : BlackBerry storm 9000,BlackBerry Curve,BlackBerry pearl 8120,and BlackBerry 8700g.

MTNL 3G Prepaid – Promotional 3G tariff Plans

MTNL has launched the new 3G Prepaid Promotional tariff Plans in Delhi.The details of the MTNL 3G prepaid plans are:

SIM Charges (One time) Rs.300/- (inclusive of tax)

Tariff :
Local/STD/ISD voice calls and SMS
As per the Trump Jeevan Sathi plan
Local Video call :
a. To own N/W Rs. 1.80/min.
b. To other N/W Rs. 3.00/min.

ISD Video Calls Rs.30/min.
Data rate Rs 3/- per MB (pulse of 100kb)

· Lifetime implies till the expiry of license. To continue the connection, customer will have to make at least Rs 150/- usage in one month. Voice plan may be converted to any 2G TRUMP plan using conversion coupons. Existing 2G Customer opting for 3G services will have to pay the following charge and will get the below mentioned tariff

BSNL Mobile TV – MiMobi – Channels,Settings,tarrif

With BSNL Mobile TV MiMobi you can now watch TV channels on your mobile phone on the move.All you have to do for playing TV on your mobile with BSNL connection is :

You will receive a WAP link

Prerequisites to download MiMobi Tv:

For Nokia Handsets make sure:
Connecting via ‘Bsnl Wap ’
Menu > Web/Services > Click on Options > Settings > Default access point > Select Wapnorth3g.bsnlmobile.in

For Sony Ericsson Handsets make sure:
‘HttpNorth3g’ is selected in Internet Settings
Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Internet Settings > Internet Profiles > Select Httpnorth3g.bsnlmobile.in

Once the link is selected, the Web browser Starts downloading the application. Once the application is downloaded it will ask for installation. Once the Installation is complete, the app automatically invokes, if it doesn’t close the web browser and open app in Applications folder or Mimobi TV folder.Here click on any of the listed channel you want to watch,and it will start buffering that channel.

Promotional Tariff for 3G Mobile TV

* Rs 10/- Per day per channel- watch any channel (Premium/non-premium/regional/non regional) unlimited viewing for one full day
* Rs 30/- Monthly subscription for one non premium/non regional channel out of maximum 35 Non premium/ non-regional channels
* Rs 99/- Monthly subscription for bouquet of 12 non premium/ non-regional channels out of maximum 35 Non premium/ non-regional channels
* Rs 50/- Monthly subscription for one regional/premium channel out of maximum 12 regional/premium channels.
* Rs150/- Monthly subscription for 15 specified non premium channels (including some regional channels).

Note: The no. of channels may be increased further and will be updated time to time accordingly.

IPhone 3G price in India – Rs. 31,000(8GB) and Rs. 36,100(16GB) from Vodafone

Today morning i got a sms from vodafone:

“Your wait is about to end! iPhone 3G arrives on Aug 22. 8GB model is for Rs 31000 and 16GB for Rs 36100.To get your iPhone before others, visit one of the select Vodafone Stores & confirm your booking by paying Rs 10000 on August 20 or 21. You’ll get an appointment to collect your iPhone after paying the balance amount. For list of the select Vodafone Stores,go to www.vodafone.in/iPhone. For me it is a very disappointing price tag.The IPhone 3G is not worth this much at all (that also locked :-/).I’ll rather wait for Nokia N96 or Samsung Omnia or HTC touch pro.
